Student Associations & Pubs
Linnaeus Union supports a wide range of associations open to all students or to certain students depending on what they study. You should easily find an association that matches your interests. Join Linnaeus Union and a couple of associations and you have taken a big step towards a great student life!
There are different kinds of associations:
- Student pubs are located in Växjö and are operated by a number of associations.
- Educational associations are student associations for those who study a specific program at a faculty.
- Student associations of interest are tied to a specific interest or area.
- Nations are social associations with a geografic theme.
Student pubs
Slottsstallarna is a student pub run by volunteer students. The co-operating education associations are CHAMPS, PEDAL, SAMVETE, SMISK, VISKA, WÄDUR and the interest association ESN Växjö.
Sivans is a student pub run by the nations Norrlands, Skånes, Smålands, Västkustens & Östgöta, as well as the education association for students at the Faculty for Business & Economics; EHVS

The Africa groups is a student association highlighting important issues affecting Southern Africa.
Culture Connection is an association that wants to decrease the distance between people and between Växjö campus and Växjö city

ESN Växjö is an association open to both Swedish and international students. Join if you're interested in networking and international contacts.
Isterbandet is the one and only student orchestra at Lnu.
Hope Church Student Connect is a meeting place and community for Christian students and students who are curious about Christian faith.
