What is EUniWell?
EUniWell – the European University for Well-Being – is one of 50 selected European university alliances funded by the European Commission through the ERASMUS+ program in 2020. EUniWell consists of eleven distinguished universities: Birmingham (United Kingdom), Cologne (Germany), Florence (Italy), Inalco (France), Konstanz (Germany), Linnaeus University (Sweden), Murcia (Spain), Nantes (France), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Semmelweis (Hungary), and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). Additionally, we have support from over 100 associated partners from all sectors of society.
In November 2023, EUniWell took a significant step forward by starting its second phase, backed by renewed Erasmus+ funding. This crucial milestone, following a successful three-year pilot phase, opens the doors to a dynamic era of growth and innovation. At the heart of this exciting journey is the launch of “EUniWell 2030: Strategy Framework and Strategy Questions,” a visionary document that charts the course for our mission as a European university dedicated to well-being.
As we deepen our impact in research, education, innovation, and community engagement, we are determined to shape a better future for all. With a passion for creating change and a strong commitment to social issues, EUniWell continues to be a leading force in promoting well-being across Europe. Our journey towards a brighter and more sustainable future has only just begun – and we invite you to be a part of this exciting development.
The EUniWell committee
The EUniWell Committee is a new and exciting group within the Linnaeus Union, created to enhance student engagement and well-being in line with EUniWell's focus areas. If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of something bigger, this is your chance! The committee leaders are part-time members in the student union board, providing a unique opportunity to work closely with decision-makers within the union.
All committee members must be members of the Linnaeus Union, but we welcome all students to participate in our events. We have activities on both campuses that promote well-being and sustainability. Our committee also works to inform students about all the opportunities available within EUniWell and supports students experiencing stress or mental health issues by creating safe and supportive meeting places.

Some of our most popular activities include creative painting workshops, fun Halloween crafts, inspiring mental health workshops, and celebrations of International Student Day with poetry and potluck. We also offer simple cooking classes, yoga and other events to help students takes their minds off their studies for a little while. the EUniWell committe is also onco-arranger of speed-friending to help you find new friends and easier find balance in everyday life.
