Over a year ago, we were sitting in the office thinking that it might be time to change our name. That anyone who studies at LNU is a Linnaeus student and that few really understood that we were the student union. The orange logo and speech bubble did not feel so fresh in 2019 either. In the autumn of 2019, we began the work and formed a rebranding group. We thought about how we could carry out such a big job, would we outsource everything and hire an agency? We decided that we wanted to do this work together with the students and our members and that they would be involved in the whole process.
Det första steget var att komma på ett nytt namn. Vi gick ut på våra sociala medier och bad om förslag och namnet som flera föreslog var Linnékåren. Efter lite inbördes diskussioner togs detta till röstning på medlemsmötet och röstades igenom av medlemmarna. Efter detta tog arbetet fart med att ta fram nya profilfärger, nya typsnitt, en tävling om att designa den nya loggan och att designa en helt ny webb, bostadsportal, medlemsportal och en helt ny grafisk profil.

With our new design, we of course needed a new website that matched our new graphic profile. That is why we have built a completely new website, linnek.se. The idea of the new web is to make it easier for students to become members, find housing and read about what we can offer them. It should be easy to find information with a few clicks and the experience should be at least as good on the cell phone as on the computer. The housing portal and the membership portal have also been updated for a more seamless experience. Welcome to take a look!
